After playing Rockband last night, and out of 20 matches, only 2 had their headsets connected, it struck me that there are still MANY people out there who haven’t figured out yet how to use the headset with the Fender Guitar or the drums. In addition, many of you haven’t gotten the joy of making a mic stand out of your drums and playing in your own little two person band while singing and shredding.
So, since I am one who needs pictures, I took some for you that hopefully will help you guys get connected. I want to chat with you online while we’re tugging of war together!

1) Mic stand - leave the base together for staibility, fat leg on bottom and top, skinny leg in the middle.
2) Headset with the drums - this little hole is right beneath the buttons in the center console area. Make sure you’re connected before you turn on the xbox so the headset registers. The little black cord and adapter come in a small plastic bag in the rock band kit - I got two in mine, perhaps once for each - but maybe an extra?
3) Headset with guitar -in my opinion, the little microscopic hole in the guitar is in the wrong spot, you would expect it to be BELOW the strap anchor, but it’s not - its about 4 inches above. I guess its closer to your head that way, but it seems to get tangled with the strap for me.
