Harmonix has announced the latest addition to its selection of downloadable albums: The Colour and the Shape, the Foo Fighters’ hit 1997 effort which features hit singles “Monkey Wrench” and “My Hero.” If you have only the original Rock Band, you’ll be missing out on ”Everlong” which is already on the disc for Rock Band 2.
For a list of all the songs on the album, and to hear previews of the songs, head over to RockGamer.com’s DLC Central where we’ve got them on tap.
The 12 remaining tracks from The Colour and the Shape will sell on the Xbox 360 for 1,600 Microsoft points ($19.99 for the Playstation). Individual songs will be available separately for 160 points ($2 for PS) and will hit the Xbox live Marketplace on Tuesday (PS3 on Thursday).
The album was one of six announced earlier this year. Already released are the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Blood Sugar Sex Magik and Megadeth’s Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying. Left on tap after this week are Jane’s Addiction’s Nothing’s Shocking and Stevie Ray Vaughan’s Texas Flood, along with a No Doubt “Best Of”compilation.
