Moving Pictures DLC Brought to a Halt by Rock Band

Most of us were looking forward to playing along to the 1981 album “Moving Pictures” by Rush this week, as Harmonix had promised us this treat for our weekly dose of DLC.  When we logged on yesterday and found no Rush, we were concerned.  Today, that concern has turned to panic.  Here’s the updated announcement from Comunity Manager HMXSean from the Rock Band Forums:

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen technical difficulties, we won’t be able to release Rush’s “Moving Pictures” this week. We’ll be working on it as hard as we can, but it looks like it could be a couple of weeks to fix. In the meantime we will be moving around our schedule so we still have DLC coming out each week (including this week, info to follow in another announcement).

A couple of weeks!?!?!!  Dangit!  Well, it will be interesting to see what they can scramble together to put in place on short notice so we don’t go hungry for rock this week!

Will Harmonix be able to keep their streak of new DLC every week intact, or will this be the first week since launch with absolutely no new DLC?

Tune in next time, same bat-time, same bat-channel!

    :)

It is because YYZ has no vocals. It will be the first instrumental.

Cowbell, tambourine or hand claps would suffice…..

Well worse news would be that they won’t be releasing it at all, so let’s just count our blessings and see what happens
