File this one under “Chicago Horde’s been a little slow this week”, due to the holiday. (And the fact that new He-Man DVDs came out yesterday!) For Xbox 360 owners who have been a little behind on their DLC purchases, or who are still waiting for those tax returns/rebates to show up, here’s a little bit of welcome news for ya. In this week’s Target ad, 1600 Microsoft points cards are on sale through this coming Saturday, 5/31, for $14.99 instead of the usual $19.99!

While purchasing points through Xbox LIVE directly is a little more convenient, you can’t beat a decent sale. Head on down to your local Target and grab a few cards before the sale ends. Or if you have another retailer that will price match and is easier for you to get to, bring a copy of the Target ad into them and get the sale price! And don’t forget to get a few rain checks if they happen to be sold out.
